The Wellbeing marathon: running in such a way that you and your team run the race well in 2025!
As we don’t fully know what the year will hold, but one thing is certain: we have the opportunity to start today.
How was the health and wellbeing of you and your team?
How would you describe the collective wellbeing of your team:
Struggling?
Surviving?
Thriving?
Does your team have the wellbeing resources to run the race well this year?
The reality is, all three of these states—struggling, surviving, and thriving—could be in play within your team. So, why is that? What explains the varying levels of wellbeing experienced within teams and organisations?
If your team lacks the wellbeing capacity to sustain the race this year, pushing too fast for too long will lead to burnout. People will start dropping out, and the team's wellbeing resources will be depleted. Eventually, they’ll be running on empty, heading straight into burnout and potentially stress leave claims.
